Professor Florin Popentiu Vlãdicescu

Dr. Florin Popentiu Vlădicescu is a highly accomplished academic and researcher with a strong background in Information and Communication Engineering, specifically in the area of software reliability. He has held various academic positions and made significant contributions to the field of Information and Communication Engineering. Dr. Florin Popentiu Vlădicescu is currently a Ph.D. supervisor at the Military Technical Academy "Ferdinand I" and an associated professor in the Department of Control Engineering and Industrial Informatics at the University "Politehnica" of Bucharest. In 1998, he founded the first UNESCO Chair in Information and Communication Engineering at City, University of London, demonstrating his commitment to promoting education and research in the field. He has held visiting professor positions at several prestigious institutions worldwide, including Telecom Paris, Ecole Nationale Superieure des Mines Paris, ETH Zurich, and many more.
