Prof. Umesh Charan Patnaik, has generously installed an Endowment Award from the academic year 2024 to be given to the student of IIMT, who will secure highest mark in Financial Management specialization group of MBA Program. Prof. Umesh Charan Patnaik is associated with Interscience Institute of Management Technology as the 1st Director of IIMT. He is always ready to help the poor and meritorious students, whenever asked by the institute. This award shall be given to the student who will secure highest mark in Financial Management of MBA Program. The winner of this award shall receive a Citation, Certificate and Mentorship from Professor Umesh Charan Patnaik.
Short Bio-data of Prof. Umesh Charan Patnaik:
Prof. Umesh Charan Patnaik
Prof.
Umesh Charan Patnaik was the 1st Director of IIMT. Before this role,
he served as a Professor, Head, and Dean of the department at Berhampur
University. Prof. Patnaik holds a Ph.D. and is an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad,
with postdoctoral work completed at Brock University, Ontario, Canada. He has
made significant contributions to academia, having published 13 books and 88
research papers in reputed journals. Throughout his career, he has guided many
Ph.D. and M.Phil Scholars in various management fields. Additionally, he has
served as the Managing Editor and a member of the Editorial Boards for several
Commerce and Management Journals. Prof. Patnaik was also the President of the
Odisha Commerce Association and has been honored with the Life Time Achievement
award by the same association.
