SRIC Cell

The Sponsored Research & Industrial Consultancy (SRIC) Cell of IIMT has been set up with an objective of up-skilling of manpower across the industry segments and the society at large as per the mandates of the National Education Policy (NEP-2020). The Cell also promotes and manages outreach research publications in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering and Management (STEM). The SRIC Cell designs and delivers need based industry specific academic programmes at IIMT.

Services & Support

1. To provide need based Training Programmeto the industry work force through a pool of well qualified and experienced Trainers.
2. To impart Staff Development Programmes and Management Development Programmes for the faculty members of Science, Technology, Engineering and Management (STEM).
3. To provide Research Publication Services to the industry and educational Institutions through Edited Books, Journals, Special Issues and Conference Proceedings for publication by International Pulishing Houses like IEEE, ACM, Elsevier, Springer-Nature, IOS Press, Inderscience, SPIE etc.
4. To up skill the Industry worksforce through AICTE approved one year Post Graduate Cirtificate in Management (PGCM) programmes through a flexible classroom and industry internship module.

Mr. Sanjib Kumar Satpathy Dean, SRIC Cell- IIMT

Mr Sanjib is a Human Resource professional with over 30Years of experience across Aerospace, Manufacturing, Infrastructure, Information Technology and Steel & Power Industries. He is a Post Graduate in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. He had held senior HR positions / HR Head invarious prominent organisations in the industry sectors. Apart from leading the HR functions in the Corporate and Plants, he has made significant contributions in theIndustry Academia Relationship, Campus Connect, Skill Development etc.

Mr.Nasim Khan, Director Corporate Relation, SRIC

Mr. Nasim Khan has 25 Years of Experience in Blue Chip MNCs. He had held Senior Positions in Marketing, HR & Training. He is the recipient of variousawards for his contribution in the field Learning & Development. He has experience of more than 28000 Hrs. of Training delivery & more than 600 hrs. of experience in Public Speaking. He has developed content for more than 165 Training Modules and has conducted research on Employee Engagement, Employee Motivation, Brand Biasness & Leadership Inheritance Vs. Inculcation. He has authored a book “Spoken English Made Easy” (Odia-English version, Owned by NCLP).

Ms. Soma Mitra, Associate Dean (Corporate Relation)

Ms. Soma Mitra has completed her Masters in Business Administration (HR & F) and M.A (English) from Utkal University, Odisha. She has a rich experience of 7 years in Communicative English, Soft Skills and Life Skills. She is the former Employee at Wipro, Kolkata and Former Trainer at Central Tool Room and Training Center, Bhubaneswar as a Soft Skill Coach and Communicative English Faculty. She has portrayed a sound proficiency in Management and English along with leadership abilities. She has passionate interest in the field of Communicative English, Soft Skills and Human Resource Development. She has actively sought career and professional enhancement courses in keeping with current environment needs. She has the tenacity to patiently work through an area of operation, for achieving prudential results. Currently she is pursuing Ph.D. in Behavioral Science- OB & HRM

Mr. Alok Arun has completed Integrated MBA from Ravenshaw University, Cuttack Odisha in 2019 with specialization in Finance & Financial Markets. He has achieved Level 5 certification from National Stock Exchange (NSE) as “NSE Academy Certified Market Professional (NCMP)” and “NSE Academy Certified Investment Analyst Pro Certification”.
