With a motto of giving industry alignment to academic program and industry exposure to the participants, the Industry-Institution Interaction Cell was established in the year 2023 and is housed in the I-Hub premises at Infocity Bhubaneswar. It is a platform for both students and the faculty members to gain awareness of industry expectations of academic programs. It serves as a podium to exchange the best practices, latest technologies between industry and academic institute .

IIIC also facilitate industry experts to continuously partake in curriculum design and career development programs which play a significant role in honing the skill set of the students to incline towards the expectation of the industry. Towards up scaling the academia in the Global knowledge index, ample industrial exposure is provided to the faculty members to enhance the Teaching Learning Process and enable the Institution to produce quality students in turn.

Objectives

1. To explore and identify common avenues of interaction between industry and the institute.
2. To Establish Centre of Excellence by Industry/ Corporate to Provide Real Time exposure on Technologies.
3. To promote research activities by the faculty members and students with industry participation
4. To establish real time association with industry and research organizations from various fields through MOUs.

Roles Of Industry Institute Interaction Cell

1. Organize Workshop’s seminars and conferences on trending technologies by experts in the field with joint participation of industry.
2. Impart advance courses on Business management for the industry experts.
3. Facilitating Lecture delivery at institute by working professionals and industry experts from industries to visit institution to deliver lectures.
4. Organize industrial visits for Faculty members and students.
5. Coordinate/ identify industrial partners for proposing ‘Centre for Excellence’.
6. Assist the Training and Placement cell for placement of students.
7. Facilitating collaboration with industry for research assignments
8. Entering into Memorandum of Understanding between the institute and industries to augment an alliance.
9. Visits of faculty to industry for study and discussions or delivering lectures on subjects of mutual interest.
10. Facilitating Internships and Practical training of students in industries.
