About the Centre

The Centre for Human Values, Ethics and Holistic Living at our college aims to initiate programs that inspire and empower students and staff to embrace universal human values and apply them in both their personal and professional lives.

Interscience Institute of Management & Technology (IIMT) recognizes the urgent need to nurture socially responsible, self-aware, and harmonious individuals through holistic value-based education. This aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the Universal Human Values (UHV) framework recommended by AICTE. The Centre for Human Values, Ethics and Holistic Living is established to coordinate this transformative agenda at all levels of our college ecosystem.

Vision

The Centre for Human Values, Ethics and Holistic Living at IIMT envision to evolve the college from value education to value-based education and value-based living. Its long-term vision is to develop IIMT as a Model Institute, a national nodal centre, and a global resource hub for value education. The Centre aims to create a supportive and transformative learning environment through self-exploration, where students develop academic excellence alongside a deep sense of social responsibility. By building a campus culture rooted in Satya (realization of truth), Karuna (compassion) and Prema (love for all), the center aspires to contribute to holistic societal transformation and uphold universal human values in all aspects of life.

Mission

The Centre for Human Values, Ethics and Holistic Living is to integrate value education seamlessly into the core fabric of the Academic, curriculum and administrative activities by 2030.
