Institutional Collaborations/MoUs

Interscience Institute of Management & Technology (IIMT), Bhubaneswar, established in 2008, is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Rourkela. IIMT has established academic, research, training and industry-oriented collaborations with reputed universities, government organizations and skill development institutions through Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and institutional agreements.

These collaborations are aimed at strengthening academia–industry and academia–institution linkages through student and faculty development, internships, skill enhancement, research collaboration, academic exchange, joint seminars and workshops, international mobility, and other mutually beneficial activities

Key Objectives of the Collaborations

The MoUs and institutional agreements of IIMT, Bhubaneswar are intended to:

  1. Promote meaningful academic and institutional collaboration with reputed organizations and universities.
  2. Provide students with opportunities for internships, skill development, exposure visits and international academic mobility.
  3. Facilitate faculty development, training programmes and exchange of academic expertise.
  4. Encourage joint research, publications, seminars, conferences, workshops and academic projects.
  5. Promote interaction between students, faculty members, researchers and industry/academic experts.
  6. Enhance employability, professional competencies and industry-relevant skills among students.
  7. Facilitate knowledge sharing, exchange of academic resources and research information.
  8. Strengthen international collaboration and provide opportunities for student and staff mobility.
